1.  Introduction - Who-are you, What-do you do, Where-do you live?

Hi, my name in Elizabeth Wachsberg, I work as a Stand In on the tv show SWAT  and I live in Los Angeles

2. What type of cancer and when were you diagnosed?

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer on March 14th 2019

3.  Tell us a little about where you are on your Journey?

I am 6 months out of chemo. I have been NED (No Evidence of Disease) since pathology came back after surgery in July. I finished chemo at the end of Nov.  With stage 4 colon cancer it has 10 years to come back so I get scans every three months.

4.  What does “Love Beats All” Mean to you?

Love Beats All to me is a way of embracing life when you are struggling.  We need love from friends and family and our community to help us move forward and sometimes to move on. Love stays and beats all.

5.  How do you feel our generation of Fighters, Survivors and Caregivers are “Changing the Face of Cancer?”*

People being diagnosed with Colon Cancer are getting younger and younger so there is a whole new generation of people fighting, surviving and supporting.  It helps get the word out and it brings people in with a different perspective. Cancer affects everyone and seeing younger people step up and showing the new face of cancer is

6.  What is some advice you would offer someone who is about to start their own cancer journey that you wish you would have known?

Not everyone will be able to step up in the way that you want or need them to, but it doesn't mean that they don't care about you.

7.  What has made you the most happy or most supported when things get dark?

I recommend rewatching stuff you love because sometimes your brain fog will make it harder to concentrate.

There are going to be dark days but you will feel better and those days will pass.

8.  What are the gifts and/or life lessons cancer has given you?

Meeting Meagan and other people fighting cancer has been a beautiful gift.  Knowing you aren't alone is incredibly helpful.

9.  What mission, motivation or information would you like to share with the Love Beats All community?

You get to decide how you want to be during Cancer. I decided that it was bad enough on its own so I was going to be as positive as I could. Life can change in a day and your reaction to how your life changes can make all the difference.
