Cauliflower Pizza Crust

This recipe is adapted from Life of Pie, she has loads of tasty, gut-friendly recipes over on her website that you should definitely check out! This cauliflower pizza crust is gluten free, dairy free and absolutely delicious! You can experiment with whatever toppings you like, we love to add tomatoes, olive, artichokes and mushrooms to ours!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups grated cauliflower

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp psyllium husk

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup green banana flour

  • 1/2 cup water + 1 tbsp

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp dried herbs

 
 
 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C

  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper

  3. Get a large bowl and combine all the ingredients together. Use your hands to form a sticky-ish dough

  4. If your dough's feeling too sticky add more banana flour and if it's too dry add in a tbsp of water

  5. Put some olive oil on your hands and press out the dough onto the baking tray in whatever shape you like

  6. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes

  7. Take it out once it's a golden brown colour

  8. Add any toppings you fancy - tomato paste, cheese, avocado, saut´eed vegetables, olives, chilli flakes, the world is your oyster!

  9. Put it back in the over until toppings are cooked to your liking

  10. Remove from the over and cut into slices

  11. If you like a crispy base, heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry each slice on a medium heat until the base is crispy and golden brown

  12. Enjoy!
